Arizona High School Football - Mogollon drops to Hayden

In Friday's non-league game, the Hayden Lobos (Winkelman, AZ) football team knocked off the visiting Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ), by a final score of 42-34.

The Lobos (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Lightning come into the 1A East (8 Man) game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Lincoln Prep toppled Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ), 46-0, in a non-league game.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mayer for a 1A North (8 Man) game on Friday, September 9. Mogollon will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-16 non-league loss to Anthem Prep (Anthem, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
