The Hillcrest Patriots football squad scored 30 points and restricted the host Northridge Jaguars to 23 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hueytown for a 6A Region 4 battle on Friday, September 9. Hillcrest will play a Golden Gophers squad coming off a 67-13 league win over Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Golden Gophers record now stands at 1-2.
