North Carolina High School Football - West Charlotte drops to Independence

September 2, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28227

In Friday's non-league game, the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) football team knocked off the visiting West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 28-7.

The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Hopewell was knocked off by Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 41-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 8. West Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
