In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Muleshoe Mules football squad scored a good 41-14 victory over the Lamesa Tornadoes.

Next up, the Mules battle the Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 9. Muleshoe will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Chieftans come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 21-20 non-league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX).

The Tornadoes now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Borger for a non-league game on Friday, September 9. Lamesa will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 26-14 non-league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
