The Waterloo Cougars football team (Waterloo, AL), was beaten 38-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Meek Tigers (Arley, AL)

The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Colbert Heights was beaten by Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL), 56-6, in a league test.

With the loss, Waterloo moves to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Addison (Addison, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 8 test on Friday, September 16. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-1.
