North Carolina High School Football - Midway prevails South Lenoir

September 2, 2022: Deep Run, NC 28525

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) and the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), observed Midway's football squad defeat South Lenoir by a count of 22-14.

The Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Midway will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 64-0 non-league win over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Leopards record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils encounter the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 9. South Lenoir will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 55-0 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
