The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE) and the visiting Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE), observed Twin Loup's football squad thwart Mullen by a tally of 34-14.

The Wolves now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sandhills/Thedford for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Twin Loup will play a Knights squad coming off a 44-0 non-league loss to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Broncos play the Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 9. Mullen will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Mavericks go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 64-18 non-league win over Bayard (Bayard, NE).
