Arkansas High School Football - Nettleton tips Pocahontas

September 2, 2022: Pocahontas, AR 72455

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR), observed Nettleton's football squad edge Pocahontas by a count of 26-21.

The Raiders now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Blytheville for a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. Nettleton will encounter a Chickasaws squad coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Chickasaws record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Redskins encounter the Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Pocahontas will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 28-17 non-league loss to Gosnell (Gosnell, AR).
