The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders (Lexington, SC) football edged the host Orangeburg Prep Indians (Orangeburg, SC), 41-36 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the New Hope Leadership Academy Gladiators (Columbia, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Northside Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Florence Christian (Florence, SC). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Florence Christian was nudged by Williamsburg Academy (Kingstree, SC), 24-13, in a non-league bout.
