The Osceola Chieftains football team (Osceola, WI), was knocked off 43-23 in Friday's league challenge with the host Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI)

The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Somerset (Somerset, WI). The Spartans come into the Middle Border challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Somerset was knocked off by Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI), 29-14, in a league challenge.

The Chieftains now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Croix Central for a Middle Border challenge on Friday, September 9. Osceola will meet a Panthers team coming off a 20-0 league loss to Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
