The Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) football overcame the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 29-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. Western Albemarle will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
