California High School Football - Nevada Union topped by Woodcreek

The Nevada Union Miners football team (Grass Valley, CA), was beaten 20-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA)

The Timberwolves (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record.

The Miners now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colfax for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Nevada Union will meet a Falcons team coming off a 47-6 non-league win over Galt (Galt, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.
