The Durango Demons soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mead Mavericks to 2 in the Demons non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Demons face the Grand Junction Central Warriors (Grand Junction, CO) in a 4A Southwestern contest, on Thursday, September 8. Durango will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Delta (Delta, CO).

The Mavericks now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pagosa Springs for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 3. Mead will face a Pirates team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
