Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats face the Eaglecrest Raptors (Centennial, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 3. Fruita Monument will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Raptors enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO).

The Buffaloes now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aurora Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 6. Smoky Hill will face a Trojans team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
