Nebraska High School Softball - Papillion-LaVista South Pius X

In Friday's non-league contest, the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) softball team overwhelmed the host Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE), by a margin of 14-7.

With the triumph, Pius X moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE) to play the Storm in a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. The Storm come into the contest with a record of 8-3. Elkhorn South won 9-3 in their recent league contest against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE)

In their next game, the Titans play the Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 2. Papillion-LaVista South will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Islanders come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 12-4 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE).
