The Abilene Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Snyder Tigers to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stephenville for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Abilene will meet a Yellow Jackets/Honeybees team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees record now stands at 16-8.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Greenwood gained a win over Wink (Wink, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
