    The Bishop Lynch Friars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Independence Knights to 0 in the Friars non-league victory on Friday.

    The Friars now possess a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Highlands for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Bishop Lynch will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-5.

    The Knights (19-5) will now prepare for their game against Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 13-10 record. In their last game, Horn defeated DeSoto (DeSoto, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
