In Friday's non-league contest, the Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) volleyball squad knocked off the host South Park Burros (Fairplay, CO), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 2. Gilpin County will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Bruins come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to West Grand (Kremmling, CO).

With the loss, South Park drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Burros host Ignacio (Ignacio, CO) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Friday, September 2. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Ignacio won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Norwood (Norwood, CO)
