In Friday's league battle, the host Keene Blackbirds volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Manchester Memorial Crusaders.
The Blackbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Windham (Windham, NH). The Jaguars come into the Division I battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Windham nudged Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Crusaders encounter the Alvirne Broncos (Hudson, NH) in a Division I battle, on Wednesday, September 7. Manchester Memorial will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Nashua North (Nashua, NH).
