The Ramblers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Dolphins come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Whitney Young lost by Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Wheeling will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
