The Making Waves Academy Marlins volleyball team (Richmond, CA), went down 3-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA)

The Pride (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons enter the Tri-County challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, De Anza went down by Deer Valley (Antioch, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Marlins encounter the Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Making Waves Academy will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Pumas enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Fremont (Oakland, CA).
