The Monterey Plainsmen volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats to 2 in the Plainsmen non-league victory on Friday.

The Plainsmen now have a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amarillo for a non-league game on Friday, September 2. Monterey will meet a Sandies team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Sandies record now stands at 17-8.

The Bobcats (18-9) will now prepare for their game against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies enter the non-league game with a 17-8 record. In their last game, Amarillo nipped Canyon (Canyon, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
