The Teague Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Wortham Bulldogs to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

The Lions now have a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malakoff for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Teague will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-10.

The Bulldogs (13-14) will now prepare for their game against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league game with a 13-8 record. In their last game, Cross Roads dropped by Mildred (Corsicana, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
