In Saturday's non-league game, the Charles Wright Tarriers (Tacoma, WA) football team knocked off the visiting Sound Christian Lions (Tacoma, WA), by a score of 50-24.

The Tarriers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Crescent (Joyce, WA). The Loggers come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Crescent toppled Oakville (Oakville, WA), 22-0, in a non-league game.

The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Darrington for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Sound Christian will battle a Loggers team coming off a 56-14 non-league win over Winlock (Winlock, WA). The Loggers record now stands at 1-0.
