In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mater Dei Monarchs football squad scored a big 62-0 victory over the Creekside Seminoles.

In their next game, the Monarchs clash with the Kahuku Red Raiders (Kahuku, HI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. Mater Dei will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Red Raiders enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 48-20 league win over Farrington (Honolulu, HI).

The Seminoles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA). The Lions enter the AAAAA Region 5 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Lithia Springs was crushed by Lee County (Leesburg, GA), 59-12, in a non-league match.
