In Saturday's non-league game, the Institute of Tech Eagles (Syracuse, NY) football team knocked off the host Henninger Black Knights (Syracuse, NY), by a score of 22-8.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Thunder come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Central Valley Academy toppled Gloversville (Gloversville, NY), 50-28, in a non-league game.

Henninger will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-28 non-league loss to Bishop Ludden/Syracuse Academy of Science (Syracuse, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
