In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Chariho Chargers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Middletown Islanders.
The Chargers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers come into the Division 1 - B battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, North Kingstown nudged Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Islanders (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties come into the Division 2 battle with a 0-0 record.
