In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 5-2 win over the Tell City Marksmen.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Spencer (Rockport, IN). The Rebels go into the Pocket battle with a 1-2 record.
The Marksmen (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Rangers come into the Pocket test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Forest Park nudged Southridge (Huntingburg, IN), 3-0, in a league test.
