South Dakota High School Soccer - Riggs held off by Spearfish

The crowd at Saturday's league test between the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) and the visiting Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD), saw Spearfish's soccer squad get by Riggs by a count of 1-0.
The Spartans now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Belle Fourche for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Spearfish will meet a Broncs squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Broncs record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Riggs drops to 4-1 on the season. The Governors host Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD) to meet the Tigers in a Class AA test on Thursday, September 7. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-1. Harrisburg won 9-0 in their recent league test against Watertown (Watertown, SD)
