In Saturday's non-league match, the host Bangor Slaters football squad scored a good 14-0 victory over the Jim Thorpe Olympians.
In their next game, the Slaters clash with the Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 11. Bangor will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 48-20 non-league loss to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA).
The Olympians (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
