The Battle Mountain Huskies football team (Edwards, CO), was beaten 13-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO)

The Longhorns (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Roaring Fork achieved victory over Summit (Frisco, CO), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aspen for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18.
