The Berthoud Spartans softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Severance Silver Knights to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Berthoud moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Spartans host Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO) to clash with the Roughriders in a non-league game on Friday, September 8. The Roughriders come into the game with a record of 1-1.
