The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO), saw Cherokee Trail's volleyball team get by Dakota Ridge by a score of 2-1.

The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Cherokee Trail will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Evergreen (Evergreen, CO). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
