The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) and the visiting De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), saw Niles West's volleyball squad beat De La Salle by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Niles West upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wolves host Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Meteors now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wheaton North for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2.
