The Twinsburg Tigers held off the host Riverside Beavers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nordonia for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Twinsburg will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
The Beavers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Kirtland (Kirtland, OH). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Kirtland was nudged by Mayfield (Mayfield, OH), 2-0, in a non-league test.
