Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Scotties confront the Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Glasgow will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 4-2 non-league win over North Oldham (Goshen, KY).

The Eagles now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Owensboro Catholic for a District 9 challenge on Thursday, September 7.
