The York Dukes held off the host Fenwick Friars soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Dukes now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Downers Grove North for a match on Tuesday, September 5. York will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Fenwick drops to 3-1 on the season. The Friars host De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to encounter the Meteors in a Chicago Catholic match on Tuesday, September 5. The Meteors come into the match with a record of 2-2. De La Salle lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL)
