Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Flyers confront the St. Dominic Crusaders (O'Fallon, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Lindbergh will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Burroughs (St. Louis, MO).
The Lions now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hillsboro for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Northwest will confront a Hawks team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Fox (Arnold, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
