In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Lovington Wildcats.
The Hilltoppers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe nudged Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 8-2, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record.
