Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cass Wildcats (Louisville, NE), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcon now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Syracuse for a C District challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Douglas County West will face a Rockets squad coming off a 20-5 non-league win over Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Cass falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Yutan-Mead (Yutan, NE) to face the Patriots in a Capitol challenge on Thursday, September 7. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
