In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Liberty Magnet Patriots.
The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Central Private (Baker, LA). The Redhawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Central Private defeated Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Patriots encounter the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 6. Liberty Magnet will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
