The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) and the visiting H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA), saw AGWSR's volleyball squad beat H-L-V by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, AGWSR upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Independence (Independence, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Independence won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA)

The Warriors now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to B-G-M for a South Iowa Cedar bout on Monday, September 11.
