In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Altamont Indians.
The Broncos (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Nokomis (Nokomis, IL). The Redskins come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Nokomis lost by Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Indians clash with the North Clay Cardinals (Louisville, IL) in a National Trail battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Altamont will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL).
