Nebraska High School Volleyball - Archbishop Bergan tips Wakefield

September 2, 2023: Fremont, NE 68025

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Archbishop Bergan Knights (Fremont, NE) and the visiting Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE), saw Archbishop Bergan's volleyball squad nip Wakefield by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Archbishop Bergan upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Oakland-Craig won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE)

The Trojans now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Bend Central for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Wakefield will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
