California High School Volleyball - Fresno Christian over Avenal

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Avenal Buccaneers (Avenal, CA), saw Fresno Christian's volleyball squad beat Avenal by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Fresno Christian upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Fowler (Fowler, CA) to play the Redcats in a Northwest Sequoia bout on Thursday, September 7. The Redcats go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Fowler lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Mendota (Mendota, CA)

The Buccaneers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wonderful College Prep Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Avenal will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
