The Ord Chanticleers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Blair Bears to 1 in the Chanticleers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chanticleers now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centura for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. Ord will meet a Centurions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central City (Central City, NE). The Centurions record now stands at 3-1.
The Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Waverly (Waverly, NE). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Waverly nipped Northwest (Grand Island, NE), 2-0, in a non-league game.
