The Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) volleyball overcame the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Boyle County upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Rebels travel to Lincoln County (Stanford, KY) to play the Patriots in a District 45 outing on Saturday, September 2. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Lincoln County won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Danville (Danville, KY)

The Cardinals now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Whitley County for a District 50 outing on Tuesday, September 5. South Laurel will play a Colonels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 9-0.
