Illinois High School Volleyball - Breese Central nudged by Lincoln

The Lincoln Railsplitters volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Breese Central Cougars to 1 in the Railsplitters non-league victory on Saturday.

The Railsplitters now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Lincoln will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Columbia nipped O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
