In Saturday's non-league contest, the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Colts face the Pueblo Warriors (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. Buena will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Catalina (Tucson, AZ).
