The Captain Shreve Gators prevailed the host Vinton Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gators now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Louis Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Captain Shreve will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
The Lions (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Iota (Iota, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Iota gained a win over Cecilia (Cecilia, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
